Digital Wardrobe

A catalogued, searchable version of the clothes you own, usually photographed item by item, used for outfit planning and wear tracking.

A digital wardrobe turns a rail you have to stand in front of into something you can search, sort, filter and plan with.

The practical advantages are that you can see everything at once including what is stored off-season, plan outfits without getting dressed, and track wear counts automatically rather than by hand.

Related but distinct: a wardrobe inventory is the record of what you own. A digital wardrobe is that record made visual and interactive.
